New ALLFI Waterjet Abrasive Feeder 2.0

Despite the smaller dimensions of the feeder, the filling quantity of the Plexiglass tank has increased. The abrasive quantity can be dosed with increased accuracy and up to 1000 grams of sand per minute can be conveyed.

The major innovation is our new backflow prevention system, now offered as standard feature. Clogging of the hose or backflow of a water-sand mixture will no longer lead to water backing up in the feeder. This protects the belts and the motor, but most importantly to the operator they will have the ability to restart the feeder in a matter of seconds. Customers now have the capability to re-tension the belt and as a result won’t have to replace it as often. The modular design makes maintenance of the belt, impellers and motor very easy, as the entire motor assembly can be removed from the feeder unit. This also allows us to offer various motor types upon customer request.

We now also offer 2 optional sensors. The level sensor confirms the presents of abrasive in the feeder. The non-return sensor detects any kind interruption in the free flow of abrasive through the feeder. With these options, the abrasive feeder is optimally prepared for integration into an industrial 4.0 system.
